TNI Commander Affirms Neutrality
HANTANEWS Denpasar – Followed by Soldiers and Civil Servants of Kodam IX/Udayana, Inspector of Kodam (Irdam) IX/Udayana Brigadier General Tatan Ardianto, S.I.P., acting as Irup in the Red and White Flag Raising Ceremony on 17 July 2023 at Field I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Kepaon, District South Denpasar, Denpasar City.
During the Flag Ceremony, Irdam IX/Udayana read out the message from the TNI Commander, Admiral Yudo Margono, S.E., M.M., who said that we had completed the first semester of the 2023 FY Program. as well as protecting the whole nation and all of Indonesia’s bloodshed has been carried out properly.
“I express my gratitude and high appreciation for the dedication, professionalism and performance that has been shown,” said the TNI Commander.
Regarding the current situation and conditions in the world, it continues to develop rapidly, dynamically and is still full of uncertainties. This has given rise to a wide spectrum of threats, both military threats, non-military threats, and hybrid threats that have the potential to disrupt the sovereignty and integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as the safety of the entire Indonesian nation.
Responding to these conditions and challenges, the TNI as the main tool of national defense is expected to continue to be present to play an active role in accordance with its main functions and duties mandated by law. Moreover, the TNI as the front guard and the last bastion of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, must be able to help overcome the difficulties and problems faced by the nation and maintain the upholding of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
Furthermore, the TNI Commander emphasized to all TNI soldiers and civil servants to realize the TNI Commander’s vision, namely to make the TNI a Patriot of the Republic of Indonesia. “I want to realize the strength of the TNI as the main component of national defense that is professional, modern and tough, and according to all of our hopes is a strong TNI, people with dignity,” said the TNI Commander.
In his address, the TNI Commander also emphasized that Soldiers and PNS TNI maintain synergy with government officials, Ministries, Police and other Institutions in carrying out their daily tasks with a spirit of mutual cooperation and hand in hand, and avoid any form of violation that can harm oneself or tarnish military name.
Regarding the implementation of the simultaneous General Elections in 2024, the TNI Commander ordered all TNI Soldiers to strictly maintain TNI neutrality. “Comply with and comply with the 5 orders of the TNI Commander regarding TNI Neutrality,” concluded the TNI Commander. (Pendam IX/Jfy)
